Taesook Jung (born in 1971, South Korea) is a Korean American Artist. She is a seasoned professional visual artist. She focuses on the unity of nature and human experience through profound colors and energetic brush strokes. Her works has been exhibited Korea and U.S.A.

 

Her education background is Korean painting. She received her B.F.A. degree in 1994, and M.F.A. degree in 1998 from Hong-ik University (Seoul, Korea). Taesook has deep knowledge about Art history and East Asian philosophy. Therefore, she can intercross both ancient and modern Art style, and Western and Eastern Art style. She practices to reflect those experience on her work.

 

Also, Taesook has an Art teacher certification (Junior and Senior high school) in Korea. She lectured at Daegu Art college (1996~1997). During working as a curator, she participated in numerous environmental Art projects in Korea (1997~1999). Presently, she leads an Art institution, Around Art at Cherry Hill.
